Skype Launches Screen Sharing for Android and iOS – How to Start and Stop

A new feature has just been added to the popular video call app, Skype. Users can now share your smartphone screen over video calls directly from inside the call.
Skype users can now share their smartphone screen through skype on Android or iOS. The screen sharing feature was first introduced on Skype beta to Skype insiders but it is now available to all users.
Users will also be able to share a document or presentation with the other user during a video call.
To access this feature, Skype users will have to start a video call, tap the new “…” option and click “Share Screen” to start sharing their screen with others. The redesigned “…” menu also allows users to access features like call recording and subtitles.

How To Start Share Screen During Skype Call

  • Update your Skype app either on Android or iOS
  • For Android, Tap the more “” option and the select “Screen Sharing“.
  • For iOS, Tap the more “” option and the select “Screen Sharing“. In the confirmation window, select Skype then Start Broadcasting.
  • To stop the sharing, tap the “Screen sharing” option again.
