Microsoft ‘Your Phone’ app now allows you to control your Android phone music from Windows 10

Microsoft has added another feature to it Your phone app to control music of Android phone on Windows 10.

This feature gives users access to control their songs playing on the Android phone right from their Windows desktop.

This controls feature can be seen on the bottom left corner of the Your Phone app on Windows10. It allow users to play/ pause and switch tracks playing on their Android phone while using the Windows app.

Notably, Your Phone app for Windows 10 pc enables users to control their notifications, and calls. Now, the ability to control Android phone music has been added to the Your Phone App.

This feature works in a way whereby an Android phone is connected to a Windows 10 PC via the Your Phone app, a music player widget with basic controls pops up on the app interface when music is playing on the phone. Like said earlier, it lets you play/pause and switch tracks.
You can also see the album art and the name of application that is playing the track.

The feature works with YouTube Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Xiaomi Music, Google Podcasts, and Pandora.

How to Control your Android Phone Music from Windows 10

Windows users need to be running Windows 10 October 2018 update or later and their Android phone should be running Android 7 or later. Now Download / update both the PC and Mobile apps to the latest version respectively.
