Redmi Note 9 Pro & Note 9 Pro Max Debuts With A 6.67″ Display And Snapdragon 720G

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has announced two new smartphones today; the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. Both phone sports big-screen, which was synonymous with the discontinued Mi Max lineup.

The smartphone features a big 6.67-inch IPS LCD display. At the back of the device is a four-camera module setup. The setting features a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera with 119° Field of View, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. At the top centre of the display is a punch-hole which accommodates a 32MP selfie shooter. This is the highest megapixel in a Redmi Note smartphone.

Underneath the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset built on an 8nm manufacturing process technology. The chipset is married with a 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

There is a huge non- removable 5,020 mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology support of 33W available.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is built on Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. The device will debut in Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Black body colours.

It is expected to hit the market from March 25 in 6/64 GB (INR14,999/$202/€180), 6/128 GB ($230/€205), and 8/128 GB ($255/€225) memory options.

The camera and charging volts are literally the major difference between the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Max variant.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is equipped with a 16MP selfie shooter. While the main camera at the back is reduced to 48MP. The other three cameras at the back remain the same.

The fast charging technology support is now 18W for its 5,020 mAh battery capacity.

The device will go on sale on March 17 in 4/64GB ($175/€155) and 6GB/128GB ($215/€190) memory options.
